Chinese characters: 梦

I’ve always loved the character 梦 – two trees with a kind of abyss beneath it. Or is it an eye that sees beyond reality?

In my Urban Fantasy novel “The Glint of the Luopan”, the dream world is almost as important as the real world. Dreams create the sky cities, and provide a habitat for the people who live up there. And the most fascinating things is – their surrounding changes depending on the dream that is being dreamed.

There are also a handful of Dreamer Society members who have mastered a special technique: Spying on the dreams of others…

I’m having a lot of fun with Photoshop at the moment, and I’ll try to print these designs with a 3D printer.
